ICT & Art Connect

The ICT & Art Connect initiative stems from the FP7 FET-ART project, which Sigma Orionis coordinates, and is dedicated to bring together artists and technologists to explore new research avenues and associated challenges.

The event will showcase the pilot residencies funded via the project, and will present to the EC and event participants the main project findings, including policy recommendations.

Anne Glover, Chief Scientific Adviser to Mr Barroso, and Robert Madelin, Director General of DG Connect, have planned to attend the event, during which will be presented the set of DG Connect activities aimed at building synergies between ICT and the Arts.
